Summer Memories, an embroidered textile artwork full of hints of Summer; the beautiful sunny colours, hints of purples through stitches that share meandering walks taken during hot days when we think Summer will last forever.
 
Summer Memories is for those who love to be reminded of fun Summer days, sharing times together and like to bring this into their home or office space. This stitched artwork is a thoughtful gift to friends and family and a great way to treat yourself.
 
Created using naturally dyed fabrics in my studio, a process that takes several days. Collecting the plants and flowers during foraging trips, making the dye and using methods to ensure a range of beautiful shades are achieved. The fabrics are then carefully cut, placed and pieced together using stitch before embroidery is add to build up the detail of the artwork.
