Rustic Flowers, a hand embroidered piece of textile and rust art exploring the beauty of pressed and decaying flowers and how we treasure these to remind us of happier times. The central flower has been created using rusting powder to permanently dye the fabric, perhaps the most treasured and faded flower within them. The outer flowers and their swirling, curvilinear lines are delicately embroidered with dark brown and rust brown threads, featuring hints of metallic shimmer through them.
