Initially we co-designed the structure and rules of the game before using this to move to designing the board which was made collaboratively using fabric pens and calico. The group also learnt how to use a sewing machine to construct the large board game base, which could be used for different games. 

Each person then designed their own character to use in the game, which were then created from fabric and stitch. The young people learnt design skills, collaborative working as well as sewing and embroidery skills.
