Slow Stitch mini wall hanging workshop

Description

This workshop is a relaxing afternoon session in which you'll calmly hand embroider your own mini wall hanging using kantha and other styles of slow stitching. A perfect way to use up smaller pieces of fabric, this workshop is for those who like to select more sustainable textile processes, create embroidery they can use as well as learn new skills. Designed as a break from the stress and busy real world, this is a chance to meet other like minded people whilst being creative making your own unique mini wall hanging. Each workshop participant will receive a beautifully curated gift box so that the creativity can continue after the workshop finishes. This workshop is suitable for all levels of embroidery experience, including beginners as well as the more accomplished embroiderer. All materials are included, however if you have fabrics or threads you would like to use please feel free to bring them with you. The workshop is held at The Weigh To Shop, Durham from 1-3pm.
